The new breed of OSLO hardcore punk is here, and HEVN is definitely a band to watch out for. Together with bands like Summon The Crows, 2.20, Going Under, Ingen Utvei and others they are carrying the torch to light up the darkness in the OSLO underground.

HEVN has of ex- members of KORT PROSESS, Jin`ri`sha AMOK etc. Their singer moved over the Atlantic from Seattle to Oslo after having enough of the USA.

Hevn play heavy mid-paced anarchopunk-fueled hardcore, with incredibly strong and brutal female vocals. Clearly influenced by great bands such as Rudimentary Peni, Anti-Schism, Kort Prosess, yet they still manage to do it their own way with plenty of power, attitude and anger.

Their amazing 12 track demo, which was recorded in fall 2005, blew all listeners away. The demo lead to the recording of the 3 song 7" released by Sjakk Matt Plater for their European tour spring 2006.
